The Angel Messenger: A Recap of the Last Two Weeks

the angel messenger

The Angel Messenger is a weekly recap feature on the blog where I tell you what happened in the past week in my life, blog and around the blogosphere. This post links to The Sunday Post by Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Stacking the Shelves by Team Tynga’s Reviews.

Life

School started two weeks which made me feel very anxious but I’m still trying to be positive about my course even though I don’t like it. 😦 🙂 This is the calm before the storm because weeks or even days from now I know I’ll be swamped with too many school works.

I’m also currently addicted to Teen Wolf! I’m only on season 2 so please no spoilers!

I’m thinking of adding reviews of t.v. series on the blog I’m just not sure how to do it. By season, maybe?

Bookish Life

I haven’t finished a book in three weeks! What has happened to me?!! Good thing I finished Because You’ll Never Meet Me by Leah Thomas last Friday. Review will be up soon. If you can’t wait, read it on Goodreads! I may have edited some bits when the review goes up here though.

I also received Another Day by David Levithan for review! I can’t wait to read it. Another Day is one of my most anticipated releases this year.

  1. Awww, good luck with school and academics, Angel! I perfectly understand the “CALM BEFORE THE STORM” bit. I didn’t enjoy my course either when I was still studying in ateneo, but I endured and learned to love it little by little so I hope will, too! Giving you much hugs! And don’t worry, no spoilers from me, specially since I don’t watch it anyway XP

  2. Is it a required course? That’s the worst! I hope it passes quickly for you 🙂

I think by season would work for TV reviews. Or maybe half seasons? Like a chunk of 5 episodes at a time at least.

I didn’t know that Because You’ll Never Meet Me was written in letter format. That’s really cool! I’ll make sure I add it to the July TBR 😀

    • “Course” actually means your chosen program for college her in the Philippines. It’s like my major. I don’t know how to explain it more clearly haha. 🙂
I’ll probably do it by season. 🙂
Because You’ll Never Meet Me is really good! Epic plot and characters. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
